Maré
Maré is a small neighbourhood restaurant and café in Lisbon, a few streets from the river. A short menu of pastries and toast, soups, burgers and a pasta, and Portuguese classics such as salt cod, grilled sardines and octopus from the Atlantic, plus convent sweets from Alcobaça and Vila Real. A handful of tables inside and a few on the pavement. Everything is made in-house. The name means tide.
