Vinho da Casa — House Red

Our house red, picked after tasting through a lot of small Portuguese producers. It is smooth and fruit-forward with soft tannins and notes of ripe dark berries, and it has enough structure to hold up to the bacalhau and the grilled meats without taking over. Poured at the table, by the glass or by the jug. If you want a recommendation without a long conversation about wine, this is it.

Serving: by the glass (150 ml), half jug (375 ml) or jug (750 ml), served at cellar temperature.

Details: Portuguese red wine from a small producer, a blend of native grape varieties; medium-bodied, fruit-forward, soft tannins; approximately 13% vol.
